Project Purpose
Fortnite Reload Countdown is a community utility built to quickly show which Reload map is currently active and when the next rotation starts. The project focuses on speed, readability, and mobile access so players can check map timing without opening the game client.
How the Timer Logic Works
The timer follows a fixed 20-minute cycle within each hour. The current map state is computed from the current local time in your browser and mapped to three window slots:
- Minute 00 to 19
- Minute 20 to 39
- Minute 40 to 59
Every second, the page refreshes countdown values for the active map and upcoming maps. No account creation, payment, or form submission is required to use this tool.
Update Cadence and Data Source Approach
This site is maintained manually. Rotation assumptions are reviewed whenever Epic changes Reload behavior, map names, or mode structure. If gameplay behavior changes before this site is updated, the published timer may lag behind the latest in-game state for a short period.
Corrections can be reported at [email protected], and high-impact inaccuracies are prioritized first.
Methodology Limits
- The timer reflects a scheduled model, not direct telemetry from Epic's internal game servers.
- Unexpected playlist experiments or limited-time overrides may temporarily invalidate the schedule.
- Browser clock drift can affect visual countdown precision.
- Some high-resolution map files may be unavailable for specific rotation entries.
